Owned and operated by John and Michelle HALL.
We are Fully Insured for Professional Indemnity and Public Liabilty as a Professional Horse Riding School
for all riders, both on the property and for selected outings off the property.
Michelle has had extensive experience in the horse industry, including:
- Rider and horse trainer for Fiesta De Cabalis Spanish Horse Riding Centre
- General rider coaching and training
- Successful Competitor in Dressage and Hacking
- Breaking, education and re-education of horses
Michelle focuses on the riders core position and seat to ensure they are correctly balanced.
Michelle has been riding since she was a young child and broke in her first horse at age 12.
While still a young teenager, Michelle was giving riding lessons to students that came to the
riding school she attended, under the head instructor Charles Harrison.
Michelle was also often asked to ride other ponies from other riding centres at
EFA (Equestrian Federation of Australia) shows.
Michelle regularly qualified for and placed at the Royal Adelaide Show.
After a break while bringing up a young family, Michelle starting teaching again in the local area.
Her experience and skill in educating the young rider has resulted in an amazing growth in business,
such that Michelle's full time job is also her passion - the love of horses.
John loves natural horsemanship and has a unique way with difficult horses including
the nervous, the ignorant and the unruly. He never loses his temper and it is always
amazing to watch him entice the horse to behave in a way that is acceptable and safe to handle.
John truly loves horses and wants to see every horse and handler bond and develop an understanding
for each other where the outcome is peace, kindness and love.
Jade is Michelle's daughter. Like Michelle, Jade broke in her first horse at age 12.
Jade is 20 years old now and mostly away as part of the Defence force. When she is here,
many students including capable adult riders request
Jade to give their lessons as she is a very accomplished rider and can make even the ugliest
horse look like a magnificent show horse.
We have a number of instructors who teach the majority of lessons each day. They love horses and have a passion for passing on their knowledge
to our students. We regulary get fantastic
feedback about their ability to work in a super friendly, positive and encouraging way with all our riders.
We have an extensive pool of volunteers who love horses and want to spend as much time as
possible working with them. We have to limit the number of volunteers who come and help each weekend,
allowing us to select a balanced range of abilities and personalities that work well together.
